March is Dental Enrollment Month for Active Members (Updated)

​March is dental enrollment month. 

You, the member, are covered for dental at no additional charge.

If you are enrolling a spouse or other eligible dependents, you must enroll them every year.

RATES & ENROLLMENT FOR ANNUAL DEPENDENT DENTAL BENEFITS

1. Rates for the July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025 school year have not changed.
2. You will be utilizing next year’s variable for next year’s dental coverage.  A Variable Benefit Claim Form must be submitted w/ your dental enrollment. 
3. Enrolling dependents can only be done during the enrollment period of March.
4. If you don’t re-enroll each year, you are electing to drop coverage for your dependents. Your dependents must then wait 3 years to re-enter the dental plan.
5. Dependent children are eligible for coverage from birth to their 26th birthday if they are not eligible for dental coverage under another plan.
6. If you are retiring this school year, you are NOT eligible to utilize the Variable Benefit to defray the cost of a spouse / dependent.
